Passionate About Inspiring Others

I have been involved with throwing since the fall of 1990 when my father took me to the local track in Bekescsaba, Hungary.

I was amazed by the athlete's movements, especially the throwers! These were big people, but they moved so gracefully. They screamed and yelled and threw things far! They seemed Super-human. I wanted to be like them! I was the first at practice and the last to leave. All that hard work paid off when I earned the Bronze Medal in the Discus Throw at the World Junior Championship in 1998.

At age 19, I was approached by several prestigious American universities. It was an unbelievable feeling, that they wanted me.

After an intensive recruiting process, I had to make a tough decision! I accepted a full scholarship to Auburn University and I started a new chapter in my life, in the United States!

I was surrounded by great coaches and competitive athletes! I had a great time at Auburn.

In 2004, I graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Finance and Economics with Magna cum Laude honors!

It was time for me to turn professional and work toward the ultimate goal of every Field athlete; Olympic Gold.

By 2007, I was ranked 6th in the World in the Discus Throw by the prestigious Track and Field Magazine. In 2008, I made it to my 3rd Olympics, faith had it, I missed the top 12 mark by an inch and a half and never had a chance to go back again. I finished the year ranked 9th in the World by Track and Field News.

The next 4 years were full of injuries and I started to focus on passing my knowledge and wisdom to the next generation.

I started to work with aspiring high school athletes and enjoyed their continuous success! In 2012, I retired from active competition and continued coaching the young talents. I also got involved with Wounded Warriors and the Paralympic movement. My very first Warrior holds the National Record in the Men Shot Put and Discus Throw for the F34 category.
